ABOUT LORI

Lori Kubic is a Manager at Ryan & Wetmore and leads the firm’s outsourced accounting services team. Since joining the firm in December of 2012, Lori has developed and administered complex processes to effectively manage clients and their accounting systems/records. As a seasoned professional in the financial space, Lori’s tenacity and ability to resolve fundamental accounting issues are second to none.

Clients enjoy working with Lori because she provides them with detailed and actionable information on a timely basis. In the office, Lori’s colleagues admire her for continuously being supportive when a problem arises. Lori is known by staff for being patient and providing thorough feedback to ensure that her team understands the issue and knows how to resolve it moving forward. Lori delivers this same level of care to her clients and finds gratification in building the bridge between business problems and solutions.

Throughout her years as an accounting and tax specialist, Lori has mastered the art of remaining calm while also being alert by drawing insight from her favorite quote from American theologian, Reinhold Niebuhr:

“Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”

Outside of the office, Lori’s desire to tackle challenges remains steadfast. In her free time, Lori enjoys backpacking and is a hike leader for the Maryland chapter of Trail Dames, a women’s hiking group.

PREVIOUS WORK

Prior to joining Ryan & Wetmore, Lori worked in the insurance industry in an actuarial capacity and as a chief financial officer in the construction industry.
